I ordered a stub nib. Gorgeous!
I’m a fan of Nahvalur and this special collaboration with Galen has striking dark blue elements with Galen Leather embossed on the body. Smooth mechanism to fill the pen, good flow, balanced in hand. I wanted this pen and missed it the first time so I readily admit to stalking the site for the pen to be restocked.
The very dark blue F nib and accents are nice. I am newer to fountain pens and I did need to spread the tines. It didnt want to write initially considering it is a piston it should have been very saturated on the nib. A copper shim and it was able to write with Diamine Celadon Cat. This ink felt like it would skip occasionally on first sentences. I swapped out the ink for Iroshizuku Takesume and wow it is very wet. Fine is a bit big vs Japanese closer to a medium. The Clear plastic is not as good a TWSBI which is IMO the best looking clear but this is a very good quality 4/5stars. Great value for a pen I might be back for the rose gold which was hard to pass but I wanted to try one first. Im thinking a stub would be fun. That Celadon ink is a shader and I have not found a pen it likes. Pen feels robust compared to a Pilot Custom Heritage 92 which is a thinner design. This pen is a very modern design maybe bordering on minimalistic.
Writing on Stalogy its very wet. That paper even fine bleed through. Mnemosyne can write double sided. Rhodia can bleed through a tiny bit. (Takesume, Iroshizuku)
Maybe try a wetter ink first or try to clean it with water first. I dont recall flushing this before first use. That first flush seems to help half the time with new pens that dont want to write well out of the box.
I am thinking this might be good for kana/Kanji practice. Bigger than my usual size ultra fine sizes. Could also become my Carbon black pen depending on how well it seals. It does not have an inner cap like many pens. Lets you see the nib well but might not seal as well.
I purchased a double broad nib before with a different color of this pen. I'm glad another double broad showed up. These are great with shimmer inks.

Shipping
We ship worldwide. All items are sent via our shipping partners UPS/Fedex. Your items may need to be signed for upon receipt.
Due to security reasons, we cannot ship to PO boxes.
Some items are ready for shipment in our workshop, located in Istanbul. In stock items dispatch within 6-7 working days after payment has cleared using our shipping partners, UPS & FedEx. If the item is not in stock, then we will need to make your order.
Deliveries to USA addresses will take 3-4 days. For the UK and Europe, 2-3 days. To Australia, 6-7 days. For the rest of the world, expect a maximum of 7 working days. Plus production times.
- Buyers are responsible for customs duties. There are no additional taxes for goods being delivered to the USA.
- European Union : New rules after 1 July 2021; we charged VAT for orders up to 150€. It means no hidden or extra customs fees during the delivery. Orders more than 150€ subject to customs same as before.
- UK : Orders are subject to VAT. Around %20 percent. + courier fees.

Returns - Cancellations
- Items (except personalized items) can be returned for a full refund within 7 days of receipt. Buyer is responsible for the Shipping costs. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have before placing an order.
